Our People
Nasco Staffing Solutions employs over 2,500 people across Canada and the United States. Our people come from very diverse backgrounds. Currently we employ models, students, actors, retired individuals, wait staff, individuals from the tourism and retail industries as well as production technicians who have spent their entire careers perfecting their craft and working with the country’s top entertainers and productions. Our search for the right people takes us into every field imaginable.In addition to selecting the right people to be on our team, we place very high importance on training, both before starting with Nasco, and on the job. Nasco offers our own Employee Orientation and Safety Seminar, Rigging and Fall Protection Seminar and Stagehand Seminars. In our Employee Orientation, staff take part in interactive role plays which highlight each person’s strengths and weaknesses. Staff are also briefed on the expectations of each type of client we work with, Nasco’s expectations, and what staff can expect from Nasco.

Many Nasco staff have industry recognized certifications in production and customer service work. These include lift tickets such as forklift, zoom boom, manlift, scissor lift and rigging certificates, airbrake and Class 1 tickets, SuperHost, Serving It Right/SmartServe, First Aid and many more.
Through our proprietary software, SHIFT, we are able to track employees’ skills and strengths and their performance onsite. This means that we can tailor our team to your requirements.
