Are you an experienced Bartender or Server looking for a flexible side hustle?

Do you like providing clients and guests with a top notch dining experience?

Do you have oval tray and fine dining serving experience or are you a well versed mixologist?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we are looking for you to join the Nasco team!!!

Who we are

NASCO is a temporary staffing agency, we are currently hiring experienced Servers and Bartenders for events in Vancouver and the surrounding area. We strive to provide our clients with staff who will go above and beyond to create a wonderful customer experience while attending the special event.

Types of Events we Staff

Conferences at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Sporting events, Concerts, Events at Hotels downtown, and so much more!!

Event Locations

Vancouver (Multiple Locations) – Vancouver Convention Center, Various Hotels Downtown, Wall Centre, Vancouver Community College, and more!

Dress Code

Black Dress Pants, White Collared Long Sleeve Dress Shirt/Black Collared Long Sleeve Dress Shirt, Black Socks, Black dress shoes.

Skills Required:

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk the duration of their shift.
  • Minimum 2 years of serving experience; and/or
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in mixology as a bartender.
  • High-end restaurant/hotel and/or oval tray experience is an asset.
  • Positions for events vary (servers and bartenders)

Staff will be briefed and trained as required on site for each event.

Hourly Rate

$20.00-$26.00/Hour depending on the event.

Shift Dates

Shift dates vary, mostly weekends, many events take place during the week too.

Shift Times

Shift times vary depending on the event. We have a 4 hour minimum per shift. Shifts can be anywhere from 4 hours to 13+ hours long.

Once you are signed up to work with Nasco, you will receive job offers on a regular basis for different events and positions in and around Vancouver. You can work as many or as little events as you would like, this is a very flexible work environment where you can choose what events you would like to work at!

Experience:

  • Oval Tray: 1 year (preferred)
  • Working in a Hotel Environment: 1 year (preferred)
  • Serving: 2 years (required)
  • Bartending/Mixology: 1 year (required)
