Lighting Technicians / Operators

Along with knowledge of contemporary staging and techniques, concert lighting systems; hanging, cabling, and focusing, the Head Lighting person must have a knowledge of follow-spots, bulb & gel changing, setting up, operation, and “tweaking” for optimum operation.

The Lighting Head must be able to delegate, instruct on safety and ensure safety of the stage hands in his or her department, and. must have superior delegation and possess excellent communication skills  to enable interaction with other departments and touring productions
